THE DAY I DIED

Life is unpredictable. But I always thought I could predict what was going to happen next. It was only six days ago. I was driving home with my friends, Malik and Omar. It was Halloween night. We had just watched the movie Saw 3 at the recently refurbished theater at the 3rd Street Promenade in Santo Monica, CA.  It was 11:46 p.m. when I glanced at the clock on the dashboard and realized I hadn't made Isha.(night prayer)  But I didn't say anything, so as not to upset the mood. Just three hours earlier, I put off the Isha prayer until after the movie. Now, I was running out of time.   I only lived 26 years. My 27th birthday was exactly two weeks away. I always imagined I would live long. At least until age 60. It just wasn't imaginable that I would have such a sudden, unexpected death. I had graduated from the University of Southern California three years earlier with a degree that means absolutely nothing right now. Shortly after, I landed a job as a marketing dire

Triple Talaq Judgement From over a decade the difficulty of triple talaq have been a prime controversial trouble in India. Government of India desires to abandon the Muslim practice of divorce in an effort to defend the right of Muslim Women. However Muslim ( except few ignorant ones ) are against the ban on this practice of shariah law ( Islamic regulation ).   Concept of divorce in Islam But the concept of triple talaq (divorce ) in Islam is interpreted in a negative manner and exploited via few humans. Unlike in other Hindus and Christian scriptures, Islam has the concept of divorce so one can shield the rights of women. The idea of talaq never exist in Hindus or Christians scriptures. In India the law of divorce was introduced under the Hindu marriage act in 1955. It should also be stated that no practice of Islamic law ( sharia) is against human rights. Who is a kafir?

Who is a kafir?

Its description taken from Quran and sunnah. To make people understand that this life is a test and the reward for the hereafter is everlasting and much better than anything we acquire or wish to acquire. What lies behind an Idol..?

What lies behind an idol? An idol is only a figment of imagination and there is no reasonable basis to worship it. Its worship is fruitless and is based on account of ancestral customs or thoughtlessness or on false environment or limited outlook. All the idols and fictitious gods like – wealth, position, power, science, selfish desires and so on, which are worshiped besides the One and Only True God are mere delusions. They are certainly things of which we have no knowledge; idols being lifeless things and fictitious gods being nothing but the figments of our own imagination. If we run after these ineffective things, the main purpose of our lives will be lost. We may pretend that saints, wealth, power, science or fulfilment of our selfish desires may take us nearer to our self-development – nearer to the purpose of our existence, but we are altogether on a wrong track. Most of us are not atheists (who deny the existence of God) or sceptics rather we admit the exis

Mu’jizah is used for prophet and Karamah is used for the wali (a favorite of Allah), and the result of occurrence for both is contravention of natural phenomena.
